With the help of the world fact book Reineke created so-called skin color maps. Looking at them you can read history. White dots in South- Africa, an amalgamation of faces and races in Brazil and workers in Dubai. Each dot represents one percentage of the population living in that country. Using the pantone color system, data from the Internet, interviews with dermatologists, research of cosmetic companies, thousands of images of people from all over the world and her intuition Reineke created the World Skin Color project.
